    Lima BETA is our interpretation of an Expressionist typographic style, typical of the early twentieth century in Eastern Europe, which was very influential in the sign making of the 70's in Chile. The style and structure of the family are complete, but the glyph set and most of the kerning remains to be completed.

    Expressionism is a modernist movement, initially in poetry and painting, originating in Northern Europe around the beginning of the 20th century. Its typical trait is to present the world solely from a subjective perspective, distorting it radically for emotional effect in order to evoke moods or ideas.
